WENDY BLOM LEAVES S.C.A.T IN SOMERVILLE AFTER 11 YEARS
WILL SHE BE THE NEW E.D. IN WINCHESTER? THAT'S THE RUMOR IN ACCESS TV CIRCLES.
After 11 years a terrific Executive Director has left her post at SCAT.
We have always maintained that the idea of term limits is a good thing, rotating crops works better for farmers, rotating executive directors gives members fresh eyes on projects.
With the failed regime of David Gauthier, a rookie E.D. who was both classless and clueless, Winchester Community Access and Media became less about community, media and Winchester and more about insiders hijacking the resources for themselves.
Look at the lack of good, solid programming in Winchester, and listen to the Winchester members complaining about bullying, lack of help, condescending attitudes from the likes of the insufferable Melodie Wing, the negligent and self-absorbed Allan Eyden, and the poor excuse for a board member, Peter Pongratz. Those three individuals along with David Gauthier, Anthony Gaimari, Joseph LaRocca and Sean O'Brien destroyed Winchester's opportunity for growth in community media. Their lack of rules for themselves, failure to properly teach members and abuse of the facility for their own purposes are the exact same problems that plagued Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., and led to the spectacular shutdown of the hotbed of sexual innuendo, employees with dirty mouths, and harassment of members.
Sound familiar, Winchester? We've been to that rodeo before and it is ugly, evil and not why cable Tv SUBSCRIBERS pay a heavy price for Melodie A. Wing to run around like she's the Queen of Winchester Access TV.
She's not. She's supposed to be a public servant, not "producer of the year."
Of course when a talent-less hack like Wing has to remove all the members and crown herself the queen, you know she has an overblown ego that does great destruction to community media in Winchester.
And her retaliation, hatred and vindictiveness are not the qualities a station needs in a president. The way I saw her bully her way into the presidency is Exhibit A, your Honor, Exhibit A, Your Honor.
Somerville installed a consultant to bring these new eyes to Somerville. Winchester should do the same.
What are you afraid of, Melodie Wing? Being found out? People seeing what a disgrace you are to community media. Stay tuned, people, we have some BIG plans for changing the tone in Winchester, all very legal, very press worthy, and very important for Winchester to move forward.
You see, unlike the pathetic Gauthier, Wing, Eyden, Pongratz, O'Brien, Gaimari cabal, some people actually care about community media.
We're working on having the authorities frog-march those reprobates rights out of WinCAM and bringing in a new dawn.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Here's my photo of sunlight on August 29th...I have a timetable for cleaning up Winchester and the very legal, very vocal, very public dismantling of the very old, ugly WinCAM regime is coming soon.
Sunshine for WinCAM, it is coming, there will be a liberation day, and that slob from Salem will finally get his walking papers.

We appreciate Wendy Bloms 11 years of work, and look forward to a new chapter in Somerville television, where this editor's first show launched in 1979, years before Somerville TV became a non-profit. Back in the 1970s Time Warner had a local origination facility on Day St. in Davis Square, next to the post office. That is where my public access career began, long before Mr. Gauthier even knew the term "community media."
My goal is to clean up Winchester the way that I helped change the tone in Woburn, Stoneham, Medford and other cities and towns, for the better.
Winchester, you are on my radar and improvements are coming. Soon. Do stay tuned.
The First Amendment coming to Winchester. This blog - along with providing delusional parodies - is of great public interest on a topic the Towm Manager and Selectmen have not been proactive on - P/E/G TV that cable TV subscribers fund. It is our free speech right and needs to be protected by elected officials. All allegations regarding crony behavior are just that: allegations. All alleged cronies mentioned by name are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dear Winchester Readers:
Lots of Winchester news in the coming weeks, but we've been preoccupied with the two big scandals in Medford, the Jen Terabelsi alleged sex scandal at the high school, and then the gift that keeps on giving, (soon-to-be-ex) Detective Steven LeBert.
The Medford news is so hot that our numbers have shot into the thousands in a 48 hour period. More news about Winchester soon! Do stay tuned.
Oh, yeah, my little encounter with Detective LeBert. In 2009 while filing a police report on a certain TV station in Medford (it no longer exists thanks to the hard work and honest efforts of the editor of this publication) LeBert "allegedly" (meaning, I don't know if he was joking or if he really did it) called TV3 WHILE I WAS MAKING A REPORT AT THE POLICE STATION and tipped them off! You can't make this stuff up. Reportedly, one of my guests on my show said he knew 2 cops who said the Chief let LeBert have it BEHIND CLOSED DOORS (allegedly the Chief laid him out in lavender for harassing me) ...anyway, after Sunday night's little incident I have filed a public records request again for LeBert's phone records and for the video surveillance of the incident. Which one of my lawyers will I hire to go after Detective LeBert? Stay tuned...
One thing is for damn sure, LeBert needs to be fired permanently. More victims of his bizarre behavior are coming forward...watch 4, 5, and 7. This is a big story in Medford.
If you haven't seen this video, it will shock you!
It makes a potty-mouthed staff at a 501c3 seem downright religious by comparison!!!!

WARNING: FOUL LANGUAGE
This video is outrageous and contains threats of violence and ugly, foul language!
132,867 page views, the video is going through the roof as well!
During the video, the man (Michael) apologizes to LeBert for driving the wrong way and says he did not see the sign indicating he was approaching a traffic circle.
LeBert replies: “You’re a f---in’ asshole. You’re lucky I’m a cop because I’d be beating the f---in’ piss out of you right now.”
Michael, of Malden, posted the 7-minute, 41-second video on YouTube late Sunday with the following message:

MASS ACCESS SURVEY - ANSWERS JULY 13, 2015
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JO JO LAINE, R.I.P.
MASS ACCESS HAS A SURVEY, HERE IS A PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE TO IT THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED:
1. Which seminars or tracks did you find the most appealing and why?
Response: The question should be, how satisfied with the conference were you? Driving a long way to Springfield, paying for tolls, gas, a rental car, admission as well as a membership fee for Mass Access, I did not expect to see shooting hoops as part of the seminar. One may want public access TV cameras at a basketball convention, but after the event is over, not right after lunch. That was not an appropriate use of our time and the expense it cost to get to the event.
My response: N/A

2. On the following scale, how would you rate the effectiveness and/or importance of the Keynote speaker?
| Ineffective | Somewhat Ineffective | Effective & Informative | Highly Effective & Informative | N/A |
|---|
My response: N/A
___________________________________________________________________
3. Please rate the time afforded to you to interact with vendors.
| Not Nearly Enough Time | Could Have Used More Time | Just The Right Amount of Time | Too Much Time | N/A |
|---|
Response
NOT NEARLY ENOUGH TIME
________________________________________________________
4. Please rate the refreshments for the conference
RESPONSE: ABOUT WHAT I EXPECTED
| I Expected More for my Money | Not Bad | About What I Expected | More Than I Expected | N/A |
|---|---|---|---|---|
5. Please rate how important you feel location (city or town) is when you are deciding if you will attend MassAccess events.
RESPONSE: COST OF TRAVEL IS PROHIBITIVE
| More Than 10 Miles Away and I'm Not Going | Cost of Travel is Prohibitive | It's Not Much of a Factor | I'll Attend as Long as it's in MA |
|---|
6. Please rate how important the venue is when deciding if you'll attend a MassAccess function.
| Unimportant | I'd Probably Go Just for the Content | It Helps a lot in the Decision Making | I'll Attend if I'm Interested in the Venue |
|---|
| RESPONSE: I'd probably go for content |
|---|
7. Please rate how you felt about the price of admission to the conference.
|
|---|
| RESPONSE: A LITTLE PRICEY |
|---|
8)8. Please rate how you felt about the interactive portions of the conference (contests, discussions, etc.)
|
|---|
| Response: There should be more |
|---|
9)9. How likely are you to recommend a MassAccess conference to a colleague?
|
|---|
|
|---|
10. What topics would you like covered in future conferences?
How about expanding the conference to have full discussions of topics that were presented, like Ruth Balser's bill that has an impact on every single access station. The sparse attendance was disappointing given that the access producers in Western Mass. are not as visible as the access closer to Boston. Mass Access can move an event if the sales aren't as brisk from a certain region. It was a major inconvenience to drive to Springfield. Having spoken at a national college radio conference since 1992 I found so many items at the Mass Access Spring Conference limited and not as focused as the radio conference is. The radio conference is packed with items over a 3 day period. It's not difficult to pack one day with tons of discussions which, of course, makes for a more effective opportunity to network. Mass. Access, in theory, is absolutely vital to the health of our community. This Spring Conference needed more P/E/G stations participating, more in-depth discussions, and seemed to lack a rudder to help guide the ship.

Melodie Wing, the poor-woman's Roger Goodell???

Unethical Melodie A. Wing wrote to a victim at WinCAM:
Kessler wasn’t sure how long it would take Goodell to rule on Brady’s four-game suspension, but CNN’s Rachel Nichols pointed out the commissioner doesn’t exactly move quickly in these matters.
Wing and a prayer!
Unethical Melodie A. Wing wrote to a victim at WinCAM:
"The wheels of justice move slowly."
Wing protected the guilty parties because of her selfish
need to hold on to power.
The wheels of justice are currently turning, Wing doesn't
know it just yet. She will be defending her immoral practices sooner than later.

Report: Tom Brady Gave ‘Explanations In All Areas’ In Suspension Appeal
Hearing

Tom Brady had his day in front of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and
evidently made the most of it.
Someone who attended Brady’s Deflategate suspension appeal hearing told
ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday that the New England Patriots
quarterback was his own “greatest ally.” Brady reportedly “offered
explanations in all areas” during the marathon session at NFL
headquarters in New York.
Schefter’s sources said Brady “came off as very genuine, earnest and
persuasive,” with one of them calling it “an A+ performance.” One source
also said Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s letter supporting Brady had
“almost a holy feel to it.”
Brady didn’t address reporters, but attorney Jeffrey Kessler told The
New York Post’s Bart Hubbuch that the quarterback “was there until the
bitter end” and “we feel like we made a very compelling case in there.”
