Letter to Town Manager 8:58 AM 3-16-15

Richard Howard
Town Manager, Winchester

Dear Mr. Howard,

According to a lawsuit :
On Sept. 10 the Essex Superior Court Justice David Lowy ruled that Saugus Community Television, Inc. (SCTV) Board of Directors must restrain from interfering with the operations of the town’s PEG cable access station.
Lowy issued a preliminary injunction enjoining and restraining the SCTV Board of Directors from interfering with the selectmen from overseeing the PEG access channels,

The Winchester Selectmen, as Issuing Authority, have more power than to just merely wait for the Contract negotiations to start.   For the Board of Directors of WinCAM to shamelessly claim they were helping "Belmont and Woburn" with access matters, and then throw people out January 1, 2015 when Medford has no access TV station, was deceptive, not honest, and smacks of a board of directors which serves its own needs, and not the needs of the Winchester community or any other community.

The long trail of unhappy ex-employees and members is a huge indicator of Melodie Wing's utter failure as president of WinCAM, a position she lusted for, and which she uses to serve her own needs.

WingCAM is Melodie Wing's personal sandbox, and if you blow the whistle on her wrongful conduct, she breaks the rules and throws a member out with phoney baloney lies and deceptive business practices.

Is that what Winchester wants?  Especially with Lynn, Saugus, Medford under such scrutiny.

It took me over a decade to remove the vile board of directors of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and so help me God, I will spend another decade shining a spotlight on Allan J. Eyden, Peter Pongratz, Melodie Wing, David Gauthier and their bad policies, their anti-free speech activities, and the way they have been hateful and have treated members, ex-employees and young high school students with repugnant policies and the allegations of  allowing sexual harassment on high school property.  That technician is a nice guy, and to be ridiculed by two jackasses on the payroll, two individuals who had their own tv show while getting paid a salary, and using the high school students as their personal staff (it's supposed to be the other way around; the paid staff serving the students, but those individuals had the blessing of Ms. Wing) was just plain wrong, ugly and a violation of the laws against sexual harassment in the workplace.

So at WinCAM if you are an employee in what David Gauthier shamelessly says is a "service industry" to serve the members, that liar (Gauthier) actually does the opposite (much like his mentor, Melodie Wing.) They think they are politicians saying one thing and doing another.

They forget - conveniently - that members and cable TV subscribers pay the freight.  When David Gauthier threw me out of an edit suite for editing Michael J McGlynn - the Mayor of Medford, when I was editing the parking situation which impacts Winchester, Gauthier - and Wing's board - stole from me.

The Saugus and Lynn cases are something that the Selectmen need to study.

Get your heads out of the sand and start supervising the bad, deceptive business practices of WinCAM.

Go ask ALL the former employees about their experiences, go find former and current members of WinCAM and see how unpopular the dictator Wing is.

Check it out.  I'm not the only voice, I'm just the guy with the courage to look Melodie Wing in the eye and tell her, as I did at a board meeting, that she behaves in an inappropriate and unethical manner.

Unethical Melodie A. Wing runs and is ruining WinCAM.  The Selectmen, like Mayor McGlynn, are the oversight. IT's a black eye on the Selectmen and Town Manager.

Saugus is the precedent.

I want Wing, Eyden, Pongratz and Gauthier removed  and an public apology from those individuals.  I have a few more demands as well, which you will see when the time is right - or if the Selectmen want to meet with me and hear what the complete list of demands is.

But mark my words, we need to find a mutually beneficial resolution that satisfies me, even if it takes the next ten years.

Sincerely,
Editor

On Sept. 10 the Essex Superior Court Justice David Lowy ruled that Saugus Community Television, Inc. (SCTV) Board of Directors must restrain from interfering with the operations of the town’s PEG cable access station.
Lowy issued a preliminary injunction enjoining and restraining the SCTV Board of Directors from interfering with the selectmen from overseeing the PEG access channels, acting as managers of the PEG access channels and from disobeying the selectmen’s April 8 order to stop operations completely.
Members of the SCTV Board of Directors include James Ravagno, Janice Jarosz, Thomas Lucey, David Cottam and Christopher Peatridge.

During an emergency meeting on Sept. 24 to approve payroll for all Saugus peg access station employees, Selectman Maureen Dever alleged there have been two occasions since the injunction that Ravagno and Jarosz told station employees to "shut down the station," "turn in your keys" and "you are all terminated."
