The author is putting together a book on the outrageous misconduct at non-profits around America, and how they get away with it. The goal is to create a national oversight for non-profits so that a Mayor of a city will be able to watch a Stanley Komins of West Medford Hillside Little League - sentenced to prison for embezzlement on November 21, 2014.
When Selectmen and Mayors toss the hot potato back and forth and turn a blind eye to Jekyll & Hyde behavior at these near-invisible (yet sometimes publicly funded) entities, the consumer is the one taken advantage of.
COMPLAINT ON DAVID GAUTHIER
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF WinCAM

WinCAM president and long-time board member,
Attorney Melodie A. Wing, in an obnoxious and unprofessional email, violated her own manual writing to the complainant:
"The Wheels of Justice Move Slowly"
David Gauthier, unpunished, harassed and abused the member-in-good-standing for two and a half years until that member WROTE TO THE STATION that he was too afraid of getting falsely accused by Gauthier, and that complainant went to TOWN HALL, the Police, oversight in Boston and community people with his grievances.

Dear Ms Wing and WinCAM:
On Friday, May 25, 2012, the Executive Director of WinCAM,
David Gauthier, in a phone conversation, repeatedly raised his voice while I
stayed calm, cool and collected. The
phone call culminated in Mr. Gauthier – not asking of my concerns – but telling
me that the conversation was over and literally screaming “I do the hiring and
the firing”. He proceeded to slam the
phone in my ear.
The temperament needed for an Executive Director was not
displayed by (Gauthier.) The angelic presence participating with the
directors at WinCAM Board meetings displayed a Jekyll & Hyde persona
exerting his authority in a way that was not conducive to the creative process.
This Board of Directors is smart enough to know my
complaints are – as well as being accurate and honest – courageous as
well. Any report sets the
“whistleblower” up for retaliation, whisper campaigns, further harassment and a
“circling of the wagons.”

People are not knocking down the doors to join WinCAM, and Melodie Wing's blatant attack on a woman she fired, in the weekly newspaper, is prima facie evidence of why term limits must be installed and adhered to, not the phony sleight-of-hand "term limits" WinCAM claims it has, while 14 year board member Allan J. Eyden gets "reappointed" without the consent of the public.
This is the root of the evil - for many of these rogue non-profits - the insidious failure to rotate the crop, the premeditated conspiracy of some long-time board members to seize power and hold on to it, not to benefit the community, but to benefit themselves.
Eyden, allegedly, was given an award this past week, allegedly by David Gauthier to allegedly "butter up" Eyden. Melodie Wing received a "Producer of the Year" award in 2012, the year she received a complaint on Gauthier and did nothing; did Gauthier reward her with "Producer of the Year" for not pressing the claim against the alleged rookie "Executive Director?"
