WinCAM's Annual Member Awards
Wednesday, December 10 6pmJoin us at WinCAM for a celebration of the accomplishments of 2014. Honored this year will be:
- Producer of the Year: JERRY ROSS
- Volunteer of the Year: KATIE PANNIELLO
- On-Air Talent Recognition: ALLAN EYDEN
- Youth Achievement Award: ANNA ABBANAT
After a nationwide search for the On-Air Talent Recognition award, what a coincidence that out of the 21,374 people of Winchester (according to the link referenced below from 2010) and all the members who participated in 2013, gee whiz, golly...Allan J. Eyden worked oh so hard (not) to grab an award from WinCAM
The embattled board of directors - now under a spotlight in the town for ignoring complaints - the board that allegedly has staffers engaging in inappropriate speech around the teenagers at the high school, includes Eyden on its board, and has the unmitigated gall to give yet another "board member" an "award."
This is something Bonnell Ford endorses?
Their employee - who is supposed to FACILITATE PROGRAMMING - having a merry-go-round of staffers and members and failing to step down when alleged term limits were put into place, can walk up and down the streets of Winchester and brag about his "award." Shameful.
Congratulations Allan J. Eyden who thinks he deserves it more than the kids and the seniors and the residents of Winchester - and the members who get bullied by staffers that haven't had classes and haven't issued certifications in years as far as this member-in-good-standing could ever see.

City‑DataAnd with a Salem Executive Director alleging that the membership is "up" 23 percent, an individual never seen editing, a person - Allan Eyden - seen sparingly by this four-year member for announcements of government meetings - has honored Bonnell Ford by winning an award instead of facilitating local programming.
Eyden, part of a board throwing out members who did great Winchester service but who don't live in the city, is supposed to govern WinCAM, not take an award that could go to another member.
More information about this award that the Bonnell family must be oh so proud of.
