MELODIE WING STATEMENT OF 10/29/13
BELOW. FULL 4 PAGES TO POST TOMORROW.
Just read Melodie Wing's statements to the Winchester Selectmen and David Gauthier's statements about WinCAM and pick them apart.
Their statements are in direct conflict with how the 501c3 is supposed to operate, especially since the money funding it did not come out of Wing's personal pocketbook or Allan Eyden's paycheck. Gauthier is dependent on it and won't show the class necessary for the station to heal: that class being the resignation of Gauthier.
Fine, if he won't resign, the Selectmen need to force the board of WinCAM to fire Gauthier.

Those cronies, Eyden and Wing, are entering (in 2015) a combined 27 years on the board of WinCAM, and that's a lifetime that needs to be addressed.
IT IS WRONG.
A person with ethics would graciously step down.
Jealous, selfish, mean-spirited people hold tightly to their "power" and, in doing so, do great damage to the community they falsely claim they represent.

Melodie Wing and Allan Eyden have not been seen participating at other access stations; they have no guide. Their abuse of the First Amendment is horrifying, and the gross harassment at the station they fail to supervise properly is beyond being a red flag: the failure to address legitimate complaints 30 months ago is EXHIBIT A in how we will remove Eyden and Wing from putting their poisonous selfish rules in place.
THE RULES SERVE WING and EYDEN and not the Winchester community. They are pulling the wool over the eyes of the community out of unwarranted ego, unprofessional conduct and unfamiliarity with the ideals of access TV.
WING MUST GO
EYDEN CAN'T STAY
PONGRATZ MUST GO
and 3 male staffers and a male part-timer must be removed for the health of the station.
Via public records request, we have obtained a Board of Selectmen Meeting printout from
October 29, 2013.
"WinCAM: Request to Amend By-Laws - Melodie Wing, President"
These four pages should have been published online, but has anyone been able to find them?
We will publish them, most likely tomorrow, in their complete form. However, pertinent information is being uploaded tonight to see the inside operation of YOUR subscriber-funded Winchester Community Access and Media, the station which has taken monies from people and doesn't offer the "service industry" David Gauthier falsely claims is his business model.

MATERIAL OBTAINED VIA
PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST
ONE OF MELODIE WING'S STATEMENTS
page 2
"Ms. Wing informed the Board (the Selectmen) that in the ten years (italics by the editor) that she has been a member of the WinCAM board, not one member of the general public has ever attended a board meeting. She noted that members of WinCAM have attended board meetings (yours truly! - editor,) but not from the general public; no one has ever been turned away from an open session."
Outrageous in her audacity.
Attorney Melodie A. Wing admitted to the Selectment on October 29, 2013 (happy Halloween from WinCAM) that the general public is unaware of the board meetings at WinCAM; ZERO PEOPLE SHOWED UP, according to the TEN YEAR MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
"Outreach" is a key component of access TV, and allegation of Melodie Wing's intent to take over WinCAM for herself and not the general public is there for you to see, front and center.

Did WinCAM post that they invite the public?

When you see the entire 4 pages you'll see Wing yapping about her not having to abide by the OPEN MEETING LAW, almost gleefully if you read it in its proper context.
______________________________
That smacks of PRIVATE ACCESS TV, an individual fighting for privacy at a non-profit funded by the cable TV subscribers.

The spirit of PUBLIC ACCESS isn't for a tiny group of entrenched cronies using sleight of hand to make up excuses as to why the closed club deserves access to the cable TV subscriber funds, and no one else.
TRUST US ON THIS - WinCAM and Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. being such an ugly stain on cable TV subscriber-funded 501c3 non profits have put such activities on the radar of lawyers, civic groups and businesses.
SOME FACTS:
---everyone in town government didn't know the names of board members of WinCAM, or even my name until I brought this issue front and center
---if Melodie Wing wanted to circle the wagons and keep things secret, she shouldn't have fallen into the TV3Medford President's trap of being a bully, being arrogant, and wanting her cake and to eat it to.
It was Wing's arrogance that put the spotlight on the embattled Winchester 501c3 and what a pathetic job David Gauthier has done.
____________________________
What Gauthier fails to realize is that this member-in-good-standing has memberships all over the region AND a couple of dozen stations airing the program. P/E/G access chatter hardly has WinCAM in the conversation as one of the better "P/E/G corporate citizens" and Gauthier, like TV3 Medford's station manager, is being snickered about as a joke in the real public access world.
______________________________
After Alliance for Community Media award meets the TV3 Medford "station manager" was joked about "on the circuit." With Medford shut down, Gauthier has the distinction of being the toxic individual real access veterans want to avoid like the plague.

What an imbecile. So if you are in the auto industry, say Bonnell Ford, you don't compare yourself to other car dealers, you compare yourself to Santander Bank? St. Mary's Church? Perhaps CVS?

Gauthier HATES anyone scrutinizing his hot air, because on the face it is patently false

Winchester has not had a real access station under Allan J. Eyden, that will change, so help me God.
