Shawcross, who coincidentally is learning to sail, wasn’t satisfied with the analogy.
“[I’ve] learned that one of the things about tacking is that it can be pretty disruptive when you’re changing [frequently],” he (long-time member John Shawcross) said. “It seems to me that, for whatever reason, you’ve made this tack rather more disruptive than it ought to have been.”
