GAUTHIER CHILDISHLY CALLS ACCESS VETERAN PRODUCER A 'TATTLER" FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING.
WELCOME TO WINCAM WEEK!
On Winchester High School property David Gauthier admitted in an e mail that they do not follow the rules, and if anyone complains they will get a "chill" relationship; Gauthier calling
the complainant a "tattler." (Exhibit A.) Exhibit B is Melodie Wing's own pen violating the policies and procedures.
EXHIBIT A
THREAT OF RETALIATION
BY E.D. DAVID GAUTHIER

I don’t want there to be any lingering issues as much as you do. We’re all working toward the same goal here, Joe, but you can’t have it both ways. If you want to be friendly with the staff, you’ll need to stop tattling on them at every turn.
If you want to be a stickler for the rules and have every rule followed to the letter, then you’ll probably have more of the professional – what you call “chill” – relationship.
I hope we can work this out to everyone’s satisfaction.

My Response Friday May 25, 2012
Hello Dave,
As a member - a good member - who contributes to WinCAM and pays his dues on time, and who also went beyond the call of duty when we had no E.D. and 1/3rd staff, which you did not see, David, well, being treated fairly is all I am looking for. Not special treatment, fair treatment.
ALSO, please keep this in mind - Joe LaRocca mentioned the "higher standards" Medford needs to have for all members - the problem there the judge found was "private access"

Members drive a station and were I the employee I would go out of my way to apologize. My specific recollection of Joe LaRocca's actions and my response which set him off are in this letter.
As - truly - the station manager under you, Joe - by his own standards for Medford, should have tried to make amends.
It's not that hard. Not only that, I have tried repeatedly to be the bigger person and he's shunned those attempts. You say it is "unreasonable" but...

EXHIBIT B (Truncated Wing letter)
A portion of Melodie A. Wing's letter after seeing Gauthier threatening retaliation of a "chill" relationship
at WinCAM (which is exactly what happened) and the attack of calling a complainant a "tattler."
Monday, June 11, 2012 9:10 AM from Melodie Wing
it is now December 6, 2014 @ 3:57 PM The Wheels of Justice turn slowly, indeed...
Joe,
I wanted to get back to you today with regard to your complaints of harassment and retaliation by staffers at WinCAM
As you know, the wheels of justice turn slowly. This matter is under review. Should I have questions for you, I will let you know.
Melodie

Wing, circling the wagons to protect the inappropriate speech and wrongful conduct at WinCAM, violated WinCAM's policy of a resolution "quickly and fairly."
The WinCAM policies and procedures manual notes that complaints will be resolved “QUICKLY AND FAIRLY, AS TOWN HALL WAS ADVISED ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2014

On September 11, 2014 David Gauthier noted in an e mail that I am a “member in good standing.”
In November I wrote to board member Linda Doucette and now former board member Jill Pearson that I could not go to WinCAM without worrying about more false accusations by David Gauthier and Anthony Gaimari.
This puts the WinCAM problems firmly in perspective.
David Gauthier can't stay. Melodie Wing can't stay. Peter Pongratz can't stay. Allan Eyden can't stay. They have to be removed from WinCAM in order for the station to survive.
Gauthier's dishonest approach to "chill" - filing false complaints on a member multiple times and then backing off, only to call him a "member in good standing" in September of 2014, just one reason why the Winchester Police and the Superintendent of Schools need to look clearly at Gauthier's admission that he won't follow the rules in his May 24, 2012 e mail to the victim
Sincerely
4. If WinCAM determines that
unlawful harassment has occurred, it will take effective remedial action in
accordance with the circumstances and will inform you of the action taken. Any
employee that WinCAM determines to have engaged in unlawful harassment will be
subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. Any volunteer so
engaged will have WinCAM privileges suspended or terminated.
Harassment Complaint Procedure:
1. If you believe you have been
unlawfully harassed, report the incident immediately and according to the

2. When possible, confront the
harasser and request him/her to stop. The harasser may not know that his/her
behavior is offensive and may stop it once informed that it is not welcomed.
If, however, you do not feel comfortable confronting the harasser or if the
behavior continues after you requested the harasser to stop, then follow the
procedure discussed in the paragraph immediately below.

Your failure to abide by the
Manual in regards to “…performance of the Executive Director” as wll as “…personnel
matters and grievances…” pursuant to Article 9:
9. Personnel Policies
The Board of Directors shall
be charged with … and the performance of the Executive Director and shall be responsible for related
personnel matters and grievances and ,,,
Pursuant to Page 19 of the
Policies and Procedures Manual
HARASSMENT COMPLAINT PROCEDURE, WinCAM was supposed to hear my
complaints and have them “resolved quickly and fairly.” You swept it under the wrong and antagonized
me at a board meeting making a vulgar comment about my show being “the worst
access” that you have ever seen.
a) the reason a President of a Board of
Directors at real access TV stations should not be a producer/host as well is
that a “president” may want to take the “Producer of the Year” award instead of
letting a child or senior citizen have a fair chance
